Course Objective:

For far too many contracting businesses, one of the most consistent problems they face is the lack of a succession plan. Whether it be an eventual sale, a family member preparing to take over, or something else altogether, failing to have that next-step in place can lead to uncertainty across your business — which can manifest in greater employee turnover, decreased value of your business, and overall a business that drifts aimlessly, rather than one that makes consistent, constant progress forward.

In this can’t-miss webinar for any business owner, we will review the ideas involved in developing a proper middle management team and a clear path to succession in your business — be it a family member, sale or even an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP). The process of succession usually takes at least 4-10 years, and many contractors simply haven’t taken the time to map out that next leadership or ownership team. You’ll get the tools and training, and you’ll learn:

  • Family dynamics and establishing a family council
  • Outside 3rd party interests in guiding the development path
  • Creating a positive model to attract private equity in spite of rising interest rates
  • Understanding what is coming next in the private equity world
  • Ideas that can propel you into the next phase of company growth and a prosperous succession
  • And so much more!
